What is rake ?
Rake is the commission fee charged by poker rooms, it's how they make their profit. Poker is a game that players do not play against the house, but against other players. The best hand wins the pot and the money goes to the winning player, so in order to make money the poker room takes rake from every hand played, which is normaly just a small percentage of the pot.
The word rake comes from roulette, where the operator uses a rake to pull in chips that players lose.
Why should I play rake back rooms ?
